Waterfront ice rink coming to St. Pete’s Pier
A skating rink and a winter wonderland concept is coming to St. Pete’s Pier this holiday season, and I Love the ‘Burg is honored to be a sponsor of the festive event.
âThis holiday season, St. Pete’s Pier turns into a winter wonderland by the water for the first time. Winter beach celebration in the heart of downtown St. Petersburg, âthe organizers wrote in a press release.
Scheduled to debut on Saturday, November 20, locals and visitors alike can experience new traditions at St. Pete’s Pier during Winter Beach, including its own outdoor ice rink.
Waterfront Ice Skating at St. Pete’s Pier
As the only waterfront ice rink in St. Pete, guests will enjoy breathtaking views of the bay and downtown as they skate under the sky. Throughout the season, customers can enjoy festive food, holiday music, photos with Santa Claus, âsnow daysâ, themed skating nights like a silent disco, an 80s party. and 90, holiday events such as music concerts, holiday movie night, and more. Customers can also search for the perfect gift at the Holiday Market, with unique gifts from the Winter Beach Gift Shop, as well as a variety of local vendors and artists.

The grand opening celebration kicks off the holiday season on November 20 at 3 p.m. with fun for the whole family after the installation of the 4,000 square foot ice rink made of real ice and a groundbreaking ceremony featuring the Mayor Rick Kriseman. Ice skating will be available during the grand opening from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The ice rink will be open every day from November 20 to January 17, 2022. Business hours will vary, with special events happens several days of the week. Entry to Winter Beach is free, however, tickets are required to ice skate. Tickets are now on sale for $ 17 and include 75-minute skating access and skate rentals.
