There is a brand new outdoor ice rink in Uptown and it only costs $ 5

Vacation has officially started in Uptown!

The Christmas tree is at the top and across the boulevard twinkling lights light up your path and igloos keep you warm while you indulge in your festive drinks.

It’s a winter wonderland, but that’s not all Uptown has in store this season.

If you’ve visited recently, you’ll have noticed another festive addition going on.

The Uptown Ice Rink is ready to invite enthusiastic skaters!

Last week figure skater and TikTok sensation Elladj Balde was the first to grace the ice and kick off the Uptown Holiday celebrations.

Starting tomorrow, guests will be able to skate for $ 5 per person and $ 2 skate rental.

Customers can reserve their place in line for groups of up to 6 people.

Each timeslot is 40 minutes long, giving you plenty of time to show off your best moves.

Exemptions are required to participate, so guests are kindly requested to arrive five minutes prior to check-in to register and equip themselves!

There will be a limited supply of helmets and skates for children, so it’s important to keep this in mind when planning your visit.

Face masks are required until entry to The Rink, however, once you start skating, you can remove them.

Festive fun is also for a good cause! 50% of The Rink’s proceeds will be donated to the 1UP Victoria Single Parent Resource Center, in support of their Christmas basket program.

Remember to book now, because times will pass quickly!
