The Woodlands Ice Rink offers vacation schedules, ice skating lessons


THE WOODLANDS, TX – The downtown Woodlands ice rink will be open during special holiday hours as schools rent for the holidays. Additionally, The Ice Rink will be offering private and group ice skating lessons for those looking to feel more comfortable on the ice.

The Ice Rink will be open during school holidays, Monday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. (open until 11 p.m. on Friday), Christmas Eve from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Christmas Day from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., New Year’s Eve from noon to 1 a.m., and New Years from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. School holidays are based on the Conroe ISD calendar. The 2020-2021 ice skating season ends on Monday, January 18, 2021.

The “Initiation to skating” group lessons are accessible to all ages and will take place on Sundays from 8 am to 9 am with a maximum of 15 people per instructor. Group lessons cost $ 20 per person and do not include skate rental or admission fees. Private skating lessons are also offered in sessions of 30 or 45 minutes. The cost for a 30-minute lesson is $ 30 and $ 45 for a 45-minute lesson (skate rental and admission fees extra).
