Reopening of the Cosmo rink on the Strip
Ice skating returns to the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas next month.
The Las Vegas Strip Hotel and Casino ice rink will be open daily from November 16 to January 2.
The 4,200 square foot rooftop ice rink at Boulevard Pool is made of real ice. Food and cocktails will be available as well as a holiday village with fireplaces for making s’mores. A new dining room, The Chalet, will feature reserved seating and a large common foyer.
Holiday films will be screened on Monday and Tuesday evenings, screened above the skating rink on the resort’s 65-foot marquee.
The skating times are:
16 Nov-Dec 16: 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., Monday to Friday; noon-11 p.m., Saturday-Sunday; snow showers, 7 pm-11pm, Friday-Sunday.
17 Dec-Jan 2: from noon to 11 p.m. daily; snow showers, 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., Wednesday to Sunday.
Special hours for holidays: Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day from noon to midnight; snow showers, 7 p.m. to midnight.
Admission for skating is $ 30. Monday through Thursday, admission for Nevada residents, military, and first responders with valid ID is $ 20. Skating aid seals and reindeer are available for $ 15 per hour. Entrance to the area around the ice rink is free.
