The Charlotte Knights’ Light the Knights Festival will return this holiday season with some great new additions. The annual event that lights up the Uptown ballpark will feature a regulation-sized skating rink, a 150-foot six-lane snow slide, their annual Christmas village and, of course, Santa Claus.

The hockey rink will allow attendees to ice skate, learn to play hockey, watch tournaments and figure skate, while the tubing track provides an outdoor activity for attendees.

The Step-by-Step Holiday Light Experience illuminates tens of thousands of holiday-themed lights, Christmas trees, and displays to create a winter wonderland experience. The Christmas Village will offer a European food and drink menu including bratwursts, schnitzels and strudels, as well as the popular gluhwein, hot cider, beers and hot chocolate.

General admission to the festival grants access to the Christmas Village Holiday Experience, Light Show and Commercial Hall, while ice skating and tube sliding will require an upgraded ticket. Season pass packages are also available.
