I was born July 12, 1982. That means I'm 25.
Education
I graduated from Queen's University in October 2004 with a B.A. in English Literature. I also studied the German language, history, and classical studies.
Nationality
I was born, raised, and currently reside in Ontario, Canada. I say "eh" a lot but I don't live in an igloo. In case you didn't know, a touque is a hat and I have never heard anyone say "a-boot" for "about".
Ethnicity
I am half Dutch. And you know what they say: If you ain't Dutch, you ain't much!
Hobbies
At the top of my list, I enjoy webdesign, but writing is also a big part of my life. I find myself watching way too much figure skating, I love collecting and watching movies, and listening to all sorts of music is a must.
Webdesign Experience
I have been designing since April 2001 and I still love it. I use WSFTP_Pro, EditPad, Paint Shop Pro 7, Adobe Photoshop 6, and occasionally Animation Shop.
When did this site open?
I opened the site in March 2003 at Amaltheia.Org. Now it's still going strong at Figuristka.Org!
What is this site about?
I have been a pretty big figure skating fan since the 2002 Olympics where I discovered the magnificent teams of Bourne & Kraatz, Salé & Pelletier, and Berezhnaya & Sikharulidze. Since then my love for the sport has grown and I have added many other teams/people to my list of favourites (as seen in the profiles section). This site is a way for me to show how much I appreciate the athletes.
